Camp Descriptions:
Ultimate LEGO® Robot & 3D Printing Camp — Full Day
Design. Build. Code. Print. Compete.
All day. All the challenges. All the awards. Our full-day program Delaware robotics events gives campers the complete robotics experience — morning design lab plus afternoon build and code — with points adding up all day toward the biggest trophies we give.
Kids sit with their own age group and work with an instructor who guides them through every step. No experience necessary. Every activity is built around discovery, and campers learn together through short demos and videos, then break into age groups — older kids tackle challenges independently while younger campers are walked through each step by their instructor.
Morning — Design & 3D Printing Lab
Campers customize a real LEGO® robot with parts they design themselves — including pieces they watch come to life on our Bambu Labs 3D printer. Each day begins with a creative LEGO® building challenge where campers design solutions and earn ribbons for teamwork, creativity, and engineering. Throughout the week, they complete playful robot missions — picking up LEGOs, moving objects, and solving real-world challenges — earning points toward a trophy as they succeed. They also use 3D modeling to design custom parts for their BattleBots, watch them print, and put their upgraded robots to the test in BattleBot games where they can win medals and celebrate what they built.
Supervised Lunch + Recess Break
Full-day campers enjoy a supervised lunch period and outdoor or movement-based recess break between sessions. Please pack a lunch and water bottle. This break lets campers recharge, socialize, and reset before afternoon challenges.
Afternoon — Build Your Own Robot + Coding
Campers build a real robot from parts — motors, sensors, wires, wheels, and the robot’s brain — and bring it to life with code. Throughout the week, they complete interactive robot challenges, play coding games like Robot Simon Says, and test their builds in BattleBot battles and Flag Football coding rounds. Every challenge earns ribbons, medals, and points — and because full-day campers earn points all day, they have more chances to win larger trophies and more awards.
For our young campers, brain breaks with movement are blended into the schedule throughout the day.
Thursday Open House: Parents are invited at pickup on Thursday to see the amazing robots and 3D-printed creations their kids designed before Friday’s final competitions.
Every camper takes home their custom 3D-printed creations, and families may choose the Take-Home Robot option so kids can keep building, upgrading, coding, and playing long after our Delaware robotics events camp ends.
Throughout Camp:
Students complete robot challenges to earn points to win tall trophies to reward their achievements. Award ceremonies are a fun celebration of our students’ talents. We have individual help from Instructors to make sure that all students not only win trophies, but also gain confidence and a big smile
Emphasis on FUN & Building Confidence!
With activities that stimulate and educate, we show kids that robotics/engineering can be super fun at our Delaware robotics events with LEGO Robotics and 3D Printing! Campers win prizes during epic BattleBot rounds, LEGO Robot Wars, and Jousting competitions. At summer camp, each student wins a special trophy, ribbon or medal by accomplishing hands-on robotics challenges (with help of our Instructors, 1:6 Teacher:Student ratio and 1:1 when needed).
All Skill Levels:
No LEGO robotics experience necessary for our Delaware robotics events! Returning students can bring their robot back to camp to the LED panel with advanced programming.
