Sr Ultimate Robot & 3D Printing Camp, New & Improved (Ages 8–14)
Design It. Build It. Print It. Code It. Battle It.
Give your child the complete robotics experience this summer. In our full-day LEGO® Robot Engineer Camp, campers spend the morning designing and upgrading robots using 3D modeling and printing, then build and program their own robot in the afternoon to compete in exciting challenges and battles like BattleBot®, Flag Football/Balloon Battle, Capture Cubes, and Robot Simon Says. Because full-day campers earn points all day, they have more chances to win larger trophies and more awards.
Morning Session — Design & Innovation Lab
This action-packed robotics camp is designed for innovators ages 8–14 who want to design, customize, and compete with real robots. Campers work with a ready-built LEGO® robot platform and transform it using LEGO® engineering and custom 3D-printed parts they design using 3D modeling. They enhance performance, add creative features, and test their upgrades through exciting challenges.
Campers create 3D-modeled parts that are printed and attached to their robot, then refine their designs through hands-on testing. They put their upgraded robots into exciting battle competitions where strategy, creativity, and design determine the winners and where they can earn medals and celebrate their success.
They complete fun robot missions such as picking up LEGOs, moving objects, and solving playful real-world challenges, learning how to make their robot do work for them just like real engineers. As they succeed, they earn points toward trophies and improve their robot’s performance.
Each day also features creative LEGO® building challenges where campers design solutions, test ideas, and win ribbons for creativity, engineering, and problem-solving. These daily wins keep kids motivated, engaged, and excited to return.
Each camper takes home their custom 3D-printed creations, and families may choose the Take-Home Robot option so campers can continue upgrading, experimenting, and using their LEGO robot to complete tasks long after camp ends. At home, campers control their robots using a remote or simple programs and design LEGO® attachments that help their robot perform jobs and outperform competitors.
This high-energy half-day camp blends creative engineering, hands-on building, and friendly competition in an environment where kids feel challenged, accomplished, and proud of what they create.
Supervised Lunch + Recess Break
Full-day campers enjoy a supervised lunch period and outdoor or movement-based recess break between sessions.
Please pack a lunch and water bottle.
This break allows campers to:
- recharge
- socialize
- reset focus
- return energized for afternoon challenges
Afternoon Session — Build & Battle Engineering
This high-energy robotics camp is designed for builders ages 8–14 who want to construct real robots, program them, and compete. Campers build their robot from the box, transform it into a custom BattleBot®, and put their engineering skills to the test in exciting competitions.
Throughout the week, campers learn beginner-friendly programming, design strategic upgrades, and tackle competitive robot challenges. They’ll build features like ramps and mechanisms that can flip or outmaneuver other robots, improving performance as they test, adjust, and refine their designs. Campers also participate in interactive games like Robot Simon Says, building coding logic, reaction skills, and quick thinking.
Each challenge earns points toward a trophy, motivating campers to improve their builds and sharpen their strategies. By the end of the week, they’ll compete in exciting robot battles where creativity, engineering, and tactics determine the winners.
Every camper works with a real LEGO® robot during camp, and families can choose the Take-Home Robot option so campers can continue upgrading, experimenting, and competing long after camp ends. Returning campers can bring their robot back and enhance it with expansion add-ons such as a six-legged robot or robotic arm build.
This camp blends engineering, coding, building, and friendly competition in an environment where kids feel challenged, accomplished, and proud of what they create.
