Gear up for an action-packed afternoon of LEGO® Robotics where creativity meets high-energy competition—perfect for kids ages 9 and up! In our dynamic afternoon camp, young innovators dive straight into the thrilling world of robot building, programming, and epic battles. Imagine a space where you and your teammates transform your LEGO® creations into agile, problem-solving robots ready to face off in exciting challenges and earn awesome trophies, ribbons, and medals!

What to Expect:

  • Team-Building Kickoff: Start the session with a fun, interactive LEGO® activity that sparks teamwork and sets the stage for an afternoon of creative engineering.
  • Expert-Led Demos & Coding Tricks: Our instructors introduce cutting-edge robotics concepts and cool coding techniques that bring your robot to life.  Students code in Scratch on laptops provided for them.
  • Hands-On Robot Building & Programming: Using our cost-effective LEGO® Robotics kits (at just 1/3 the price of LEGO® Mindstorms!), you’ll build and program your very own LEGO®  robot. Each session is a step-by-step adventure—from designing custom attachments to fine-tuning the code that drives your robot’s moves!
  • Returning camper with the Arduino LEGO Robot?  Add the Robotic Arm or new Lights and Sounds expansion set (select option while registering).
  • BattleBot Showdowns: Put your skills to the test in head-to-head challenges inspired by the excitement of BattleBots®. Navigate mazes, and compete in thrilling obstacle course that not only boost your confidence but also sharpen your STEM abilities.
  • Achievement Celebrations: Every victory is celebrated! Earn points and collect ribbons, trophies, and medals as you master new skills, proving that you’re not just building robots—you’re building confidence, creativity, and a passion for STEM.  With a teacher student ratio of 1 to 6, our instructors help campers achieve their best self but getting help when they need it.
  • Instructor Guidance: A fun, supportive environment with instructor guidance for every camper.  Junior Camp (Ages 4–8): Perfect for first-time coders and LEGO enthusiasts. Instructors are there every step to ensure success and huge smiles. Senior Camp (Ages 8+): For older or more experienced kids who are ready for bigger challenges, while still benefiting from expert instructor support.

Go past the BBQ and the Drive thru

Look for Dempsey signs on right and turn into the large parking lot.

Drive toward the white fence across the lot to Dempsey South entrance

Once on the boardwalk, there is no way to get off of the boardwalk except at the end which it right into the house.
