LEGO Robot BattleBot Building and Coding Introduction – Grades K to 2 and 3 to 5
Optional Take Home Robot
Many parents tell us that purchasing a Take-Home Robot was one of the best parts of the class for their child. While completely optional, it’s very popular because it allows your child to continue building, coding, and creating long after class ends.
On March 9, every student will build a LEGO Robot Battlebot. For just $125, your child can keep the exact robot they built (LEGOs and all)—turning the after-school experience into a hands-on STEM learning opportunity that continues at home.
You can purchase the robot during registration (choose “Registration with Take-Home Robot”) or anytime during the session using the link provided below. Just include your child’s name and class.
Parents frequently tell us that their children are even more engaged in class when they know the robot will be theirs to keep. They take extra pride in building it, love showing it off at home, and enjoy running all the programs we create during class using the included in the information packet sent home with the robot. The robot also works with the remote so students can build with LEGO® and quickly use the robot.
Students who own the robot can also bring it to our Dublin summer camps, where they build and program an exciting expansion set—adding even more engineering challenges and fun.
Space is limited for our Dublin LEGO® Robot classes, and they tend to fill quickly. Because Dublin City Schools charges a weekly facility fee, each class does require a minimum number of students, but you will receive a full refund if a session is canceled due to low enrollment.
We would love to have your child join us for an engaging, confidence-building robotics experience!
